Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion works by gently exfoliating the outer epidermal layer, buffing away dead and dull skin cells to reveal fresh, younger-looking skin. Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) - Skin Needling
This is our premium anti – ageing treatment. Collagen Induction Therapy works by micro needling the skin using very fine needles. The Dermal Pen (as opposed to the Dermal Rollers) provides superior results as well as being efficient on application. These ‘micro injuries’ upon the Epidermis and Dermis encourage the body’s natural process to re grow and repair through the production of ‘Collagen’. The needles are so fine that the epidermis rapidly heals without any sign of being penetrated.
The end result is that the dermis has been stimulated to undergo re-modelling whilst the epidermis quickly returns to normal. There are two levels of CIT available in our clinic – Nourishing CIT which uses shorter needles with a milder result and our Deep CIT which uses longer needles for a stronger effect on the Collagen Induction process.
Here at Skin Fit Aesthetics can also add in a de-pigment serum or rejuvenation serum to enhance your treatment.

Chemical Peels

Jessners/TCA
The Jessner Peel was designed to remove superficial layers of skin, dry out active acne, dislodge blackheads, reduce shallow wrinkling and scarring, help lighten hyper pigmentation and improve the overall appearance and health of sun-damaged, acne prone, ageing skin.
TCA is a non-toxic chemical (trichloracetic acid), which has been used to perform skin peels for over 20 years. It is a relative of vinegar (acetic acid.) When TCA is applied to the skin, it causes the top layers of cells to dry up and peel off over a period of several days to one week. When the old skin is peeled off, it exposes a new layer of undamaged skin, which has a smother texture and more even colour.

Cryotherapy is the practice of applying extreme cold to the skin for surgical or medicinal purposes. Also known as cryosurgery, it typically uses nitrous oxide gas to destroy dead or diseased skin tissue. The practitioner will apply nitrous oxide to the skin using a special gun or a cryo pen.
